Ingredients:

1 Carton Drake's® Cakes Mini Pound Cakes
4 Eggs

2/3 Cup Milk

1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Powdered Sugar, Optional Topping

Maple Syrup, Optional Topping

Fresh Blueberries or Seasonal Fruit


Supplies:

Large Non-Stick Pan or Griddle

Shallow Bowl for Batter

Directions:

  1. Unwrap each Mini Pound Cake and cut lengthwise into fourths.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour the batter into a large shallow dish and begin lightly dipping each side of the pound cake stick in the batter.
  5. Begin cooking each stick in the pan until both sides are crisp and browned.
  6. Once all of the sticks are cooked, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
  7. Serve with syrup and fresh blueberries.
