Makes 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 Carton Drake's® Cakes Yankee Doodles®
- 1/2 Cup Salted Butter, softened
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream or Milk
- 15 Chocolate Sandwich Cream-Filled Cookies
Supplies:
- Piping Bag
- 1M Open Start Piping Tip
- Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer
- Food Processor
- Parchment-Lined Baking Sheet
Directions:
- Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer), cream the butter with the paddle attachment until fluffy.
- Next, beat in the powdered sugar (slowly) until fluffy and smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and heavy whipping cream. Beat until fluffy and smooth.
- Using 7 cookies, pulse in a food processor or crush by hand. You will want fine cookie crumbles.
- Add about 4 tablespoons of the cookie crumbs into the frosting until combined.
- Unwrap the Yankee Doodles cakes and place on lined baking sheet.
- Fill your piping bag fitted with the 1M piping tip, and frost the top of each cake.
- Add your cookie on top and enjoy!
