These quick and easy treats are ready in about 20-minutes with no baking required. Plus, they are ideal for gatherings, birthdays, or a little sweet treat at the end of a long day. Ingredients:

  • 1 Carton Drake's® Cakes Yankee Doodles®
  • 1/2 Cup Salted Butter, softened
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream or Milk
  • 15 Chocolate Sandwich Cream-Filled Cookies


Supplies:

  • Piping Bag
  • 1M Open Start Piping Tip
  • Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer
  • Food Processor
  • Parchment-Lined Baking Sheet

Directions:

  1. Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer), cream the butter with the paddle attachment until fluffy.
  2. Next, beat in the powdered sugar (slowly) until fluffy and smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and heavy whipping cream. Beat until fluffy and smooth.
  4. Using 7 cookies, pulse in a food processor or crush by hand. You will want fine cookie crumbles.
  5. Add about 4 tablespoons of the cookie crumbs into the frosting until combined.
  6. Unwrap the Yankee Doodles cakes and place on lined baking sheet.
  7. Fill your piping bag fitted with the 1M piping tip, and frost the top of each cake.
  8. Add your cookie on top and enjoy!
