Makes 8 Servings
Ingredients:
1 Carton
Drake's® Cakes Ring Dings®
1 Container White Frosting
1 Container Chocolate Frosting
1 Box Chocolate Flake Cereal
Powdered Sugar, for garnish
Supplies:
Piping Bag
Piping Tip
Sieve or Strainer
Directions:
- Unwrap each Ring Ding package and set to the side.
- Frost the top of the Ring Dings with white frosting. We recommend using a 1M piping tip or spreading the frosting on using a butter knife.
- Next, pipe a thick chocolate frosting base in the middle of the Ring Ding. If not thick enough, you can mix in 1/4 cup of powdered sugar into the frosting for a stiffer base.
- Now, push the chocolate-flake cereal around the base of the chocolate frosting, with the flakes pointing upwards and the chocolate part on the exterior.
- Then, repeat until the top looks like a pinecone. Follow the recipe picture for more help!
- Dust each pinecone with powdered sugar using a sieve or strainer.
