Makes 8 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 Carton Drake's Cakes Ring Dings
  • 1 Container White Frosting
  • 1 Container Chocolate Frosting
  • 1 Box Chocolate Flake Cereal
  • Powdered Sugar, for garnish

Supplies:

  • Piping Bag
  • Piping Tip
  • Sieve or Strainer

Directions:

  1. Unwrap each Ring Ding package and set to the side.
  2. Frost the top of the Ring Dings with white frosting. We recommend using a 1M piping tip or spreading the frosting on using a butter knife.
  3. Next, pipe a thick chocolate frosting base in the middle of the Ring Ding. If not thick enough, you can mix in 1/4 cup of powdered sugar into the frosting for a stiffer base.
  4. Now, push the chocolate-flake cereal around the base of the chocolate frosting, with the flakes pointing upwards and the chocolate part on the exterior.
  5. Then, repeat until the top looks like a pinecone. Follow the recipe picture for more help!
  6. Dust each pinecone with powdered sugar using a sieve or strainer.
